Join the Junior Board Nominations Potluck

Location: SDIA Front Patio

Join us for a special potluck event where candidates for the new Junior Board will present their speeches before voting begins. It’s also a great opportunity for candidates and club junior members to connect and share their hopes for the upcoming term!

Important Notes:
The ice rink will be closed — restrooms will not be accessible.

Parents: Please remain on the premises to supervise your children. You’re welcome to stay, mix, and mingle!

Help out the Jr. Board by joining the committee!!

Interested in becoming a Committee Chair with the Junior Board?

We are currently looking for:

Webmaster Chair
Historian Chair
Spirit Chair

Up to 10 San Diego Figure Skating Club Jr members will be selected as a Committee Member on the Jr Board. Applicants must be over the age of 13. Committee Members will be required to join the monthly junior board meetings and can contribute to discussions.

While they are not on the executive jr board, they will participate in junior board activities. 

If more than 10 members apply, committee members will be decided by a vote by the executive board. Applicants will be assessed based on spirit, dedication, and enthusiasm.

SDFSC- Be a Junior Board Candidate for 2023-2024

Hi everyone! It’s that time of year again. 

Each year we hold annual elections for the SDFSC Junior Board Executive Committee.

The details of positions, responsibilities, and election process are all captured in the SDFSC Junior Board Bylaws, so please take a look!

The positions that are open to apply for are:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Treasurer
  • VP of Communications
  • Secretary
  • Webmaster

If you’re interested in participating in a leadership role for the club and will be at least 15 years old but not older than 18 by July 1st, 2023, you are eligible to run as a candidate! You can choose up to three positions for which to run. 

Complete a Jr Board Candidate Submission form and select positions that you are interested in by April 27th, 2023. We ask you to write one paragraph on why you would like to participate on the Junior Board Executive Committee to help us get to know you better.

The Junior Board Advisor will collect and forward candidates to the SDFSC Nominating Committee.

The election ballot will be distributed at the same time as the SDFSC Annual Election, and will only be ratified for candidates that are in good standing for the 2023-2024 membership year.

Complete a Jr Board Candidate Submission form and select positions that you are interested by April 5th, 2021. We ask you to write one paragraph on why you would like to participate on the Junior Board Executive Committee to help us get to know you better.

The Junior Board Advisor will collect and forward candidates to the SDFSC Nominating Committee where up to three candidates will be selected for each position.

The election ballot will be distributed at the same time as the SDFSC Annual Election, and will only be ratified for candidates that are in good standing for the 2022-2023 membership year.
